Full-Time Mechanic - Selkirk, NY Terminal

LP Transportation, Inc., a family owned Propane and LNG carrier for over 108 years is currently looking for a self-motivated, Class A mechanic for our Selkirk, NY terminal. The techinician/mechanic would need to perform and assist a manager in PM's and repairs for our tractors and trailers working out of that terminal. Candidates must have computer skills and troubleshooting experience. CDL A license is preferred for moving equipment and road testing trucks and trailers as needed. Driving opportunities are available to earn extra money during the peak season.

Full time benefits include:

  • Starting wage - $38.00 per hour depending on experience.
  • Overtime - $57.00 per hour for time over 40 hours.
  • 40 hour work week normally - Mon. thru Fri. with additional hours on Sat. during busy times - seasonally.
  • Health Care (medical, dental, vision) + $3,000 opt out provision.
  • Paid Holidays, Vacations, Sick and Personal time.
  • 401K matching up to 4%.
  • Company funded, fixed pension plan at 5%.
  • $3,000 sign on bonus.
